Westside Duo at Sounds of Summer
Formed in late 2008, this new duo will get the beach swingin' at Sounds of Summer from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 27 at the Quietwater Shell on the Boardwalk. Equipped with smooth standards, light jazz and pop, and influenced by the swing bands of the '30s & '40s, the Bebop explorers of the 40's & 50's, then later cool jazz and hard bop, the Westside Duo has chosen from this vast array of compositions geared to both stir the soul and move the feet of its audience.
