

Progressive blues band Tin Feet gets down deep with its inventive sound at Sounds of Summer on Friday, July 25 from 5:30–7:30 p.m. at the Quietwater Shell on the Boardwalk. Blending traditional, latin, creole, second line and funk, the band combines old and new forms of blues and other types of music. Band members include Travis Jackson on drums/vocals, John Fountain on bass, Daniel “Slim” Richardson on harmonica/vocals and new member John “Jack the Ripper” Hart on guitar.
Most members of the quartet met in May 2006 during a “Monday Night Blues” session at the Gutter Lounge and formed the band in August 2006. As they say, the rest is history. Band members include Travis Jackson on drums/vocals, John Fountain on bass, Daniel “Slim” Richardson on harmonica/vocals and new member John “Jack the Ripper” Hart on guitar.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority.
