The DTs at Sounds of Summer
Get ready to rock to country, blues and classic rock with The DTs on Sunday, Aug. 9. Darren Hurst and Tom Rouse, "D" & "T", met in the Fall of 2007 and gradually began working together as a duo. Even though they are a new band, they still give the crowd a fun-filled, rockin’ show with old favorites, classics and a few originals thrown in the mix. In the last few months, they have added Dave McAlpine on drums, Rob D. on bass and Rusty Miller on lead guitar. Be sure to catch these guys from 6-8 p.m. at the Quietwater Shell on the Boardwalk.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority.
