Southern rock slams into Sounds of Summer
The Sounds of Summer festivities continue with Fort Morgan Slammers on Saturday, June 14. These “southern rock specialists” bring killer covers from Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, the Allman Brothers and even some home-grown originals that will rock your heart out.

Fiesta Boat Parade & DeLuna Landing Ceremony–Saturday, June 7–Join in the merriment of this light hearted parody of what might have happened when DeLuna first landed on Pensacola Beach. This Fiesta of Five Flags event takes place in the Quietwater Shell at 3 p.m
Fiesta Sand Sculpture Contest– Sunday, June 8–Watch as mystical creations arise from the white sands of Pensacola Beach. Bring your family and make it a day! Registration begins at 9 a.m. at the Pensacola Beach Pavilion near the Pensacola Beach Fishing Pier. Judging begins at 2 p.m. No professional sculptors, please.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority.
