Dunnottar at Sounds of Summer
Dunnottar was formed in August 1988 and was named after a castle that one of the original trio had just visited in Scotland. The band winds down the month at Sounds of Summer from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 31 at the Quietwater Shell on the Boardwalk with their fast-paced guitar rock, blue, strong vocals and plenty of well-known tunes.
What began as a three piece acoustic act has grown over the last 19 years to a five-piece (and sometimes six-piece) rock band. The band is influenced by such legendary musicians as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Pretenders, Fleetwood Mac, Jefferson Airplane, and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Band members include Lisa Butcher, Larry Trivett, Jeff Rollo, Mike Miller, Dave Campbell and Jennifer Paquette.
