Pensacola jam band, Mass Kunfuzion, returns for their third straight year to Bands on the Beach from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 12 at the Gulfside Pavilion. They have a unique blend of classic rock, '80s and modern popular tunes, including hits from Carrie Underwood and Snow Patrol. The band has been working hard learning new material and will showcase the new grooves at their show.
"Each year, we try to bring some new songs to the stage," said lead singer and guitarist Brian LeBlanc, "and this year is no exception. Since we do not want to be categorized into any specific genre, it allows us the freedom to perform rock 'n' roll, pop, blues, country and anything else that sounds good to us."
Band members include Mark Whibbs and Steve Hernandez on vocals and percussion; Tom Baroco on vocals and keyboard; Dave Clark on vocals and bass; Mike Vogel on lead vocal and lead guitar; Angela Baroco, lead vocals; and Brian LeBlanc, lead vocals and rhythm guitar.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority.
