Pensacola's own Civilized Natives steal the show at Bands on the Beach from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25 at the Gulfside Pavilion with an evening of original music and popular covers from Celine Dion to Eric Clapton and even Weezer. In their original material, the influence of groups such as ELO and The Beatles is unmistakable. Their vocals blend harmoniously with crisp acoustic guitars and heartfelt piano lines while still retaining a rock 'n' roll edge.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority.
