Beulah Land South Band will play Southern Rock cover songs from Lynyrd Skynyrd, ZZ Top, Blackfoot and others from 7-9 p.m. on Tuesday, August 17 at the Gulfside Pavilion. Collectively, the bands four members bring a wide variety of style and talent to the stage. They have created a unique sound that they call "Swamp Water Music", also the title of their latest CD. The band's most recent venue was opening for Joe Diffie at the 2010 BeulahFest. Having a strong community sense they have also played for many benefits around this area. They are frequently featured at local clubs in the Gulf Coast area and participated in the Colgate Country Showdown this past August.
Band members include Tommy Robinson on rhythm guitar and vocals, Kenny Keziah on vocals and lead guitar, Jon Guerrette on drums and vocals and Kent "Bucky" Buckner on bass guitar and vocals.
Spectators are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets to the pavilion area. No pets are allowed and glass is prohibited. Concerts are provided and organized by the Santa Rosa Island Authority.
